Meet Alan Glicksman:

Canadian Artist Alan Glicksman has been drawing and painting since the mid 1970s. Throughout his career he has developed a whirlwind of accomplishments. With an expressive visual vocabulary, his highly praised imaginative works appear in many private collections around the world. Paintings consist of brightly coloured, roughly hewn, neo-primitive figures and animals. They appear totemic and childlike. Glicksman's works are hailed for their fresh, original approach to the enduring desire to visualize the human soul and psyche. Alan studied in Toronto and New York City at the Ontario College of Art, at the University of Guelph, and at the University of Toronto. He lives with his wife, Suzanne in Owen Sound.
